We started our brand after traveling the world and feeling there was something missing at home.

Wine in places like Positano - Massimo’s ancestral homeland - is celebrated but not dissected. There is obsession in production, less so in consumption - wine is enjoyed without being fussed over. Quality is incredibly important, but it’s also subjective - something easily forgotten when digesting scores and reviews.

We made Di Costanzo to make our own niche in Napa, rather than settling into someone else’s. We agonize over making these wines but not over drinking them.

HISTORY

This is where

we tell a charming story about the idea for the label. The photo of Nonno fishing in Positano, showing off his catch. But, because we always want to point back to concept, we should describe the inspiration to use that photo connecting to Massimo’s wine revelation in Italy - mixing co-op chardonnay with his wine, or drinking cheap wine with peaches in it. Nonno’s photo being a touchstone for that culture, the root that grounds the vision for Di Costanzo.
